Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What is early intervention?
Answer: Early intervention is a program set up by the federal government and administered by the states to help children from 0-3 years of age that have developmental delays. The hope is that if developmental delays can be caught and treated at a young age the child can progress normally.

Question: What is the cost for services?
Answer: The cost for a state's early intervention program depends on what the state's policy is. If your child is accepted into the early intervention program than at the time of acceptance you will be informed regarding cost. For our 3-10 year old program, the cost to you directly depends on your health insurance policy. But we will work with you to come up with something that you are comfortable with.

Question: Is therapy home based or clinic based?
Answer: All of our therapy is home based or done in a child's day care if the parents are not available.

Question: What times are therapies done?
Answer: That entirely depends on you and the therapist. We work around your schedule, so you and your child's therapist can decide a time that is best for everyone.
